Biology Degrees In this course, you’ll gain an understanding of undergraduate learning in science courses, preparing you to become a more effective teacher. Topics focus on emerging research that supports active and student-centered learning activities, as well as methods that include the 5Es, concept-mapping and 'backward' design.

A major in biology can also prepare you to enter dental, medical or veterinary school or a training program to become a healthcare professional such as an optometrist or pharmacist.
