Scholarships for women engineers

The goal of the WAMS program is to develop and implement robust collaborations to increase the representation, participation, and entrepreneurial skills and abilities of rural women and underrepresented minorities from rural areas in STEM careers, thereby contributing to economic prosperity in rural areas across the nation. Funded projects will meet this goal and lead to the development of a robust and diverse food and agricultural STEM workforce that is highly competent in the application of STEM knowledge and skills, with increased participation of women and minorities from rural areas across a broad spectrum of rural, local, state or national communities.  Stem fellowship Applications for this scholarship are now closed.

Not all minority scholarships are specifically for particular demographic groups. If you are a minority woman, you may want to apply for scholarships for women from any minority group as well as ones that are for your specific racial or ethnic background. Diversifying your applications in this way may increase your chances of landing valuable scholarships. For example, if you dig in to all that the Society of Women Engineers offers, you'll find that there is a main application for scholarships awarded at the organizational level but several of the local professional sections also have scholarship programs that you may be eligible for as well.

To apply you must be an organisation incorporated in Australia, a publicly funded research organisation or publicly funded research agency, a vocational education and training provider, a technical and further education institution or a not-for-profit organisation.
